Terms of Service

These Terms set out the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations, and responsibilities for using the DUVIS website, mobile app, APIs, AI coaching tools, and related services.

DUVIS helps users manage purpose, goals, tasks, habits, time, retrospectives, notes, and reports in one connected workflow.

Service means DUVIS web and app features for personal growth management, AI coaching, planning, reports, notifications, integrations, and related features.

Member means a person who agrees to these Terms and creates an account to use the Service continuously.

Content means goals, tasks, habits, schedules, retrospectives, notes, documents, images, conversations, and other data entered or uploaded by a Member.

AI features mean features that generate coaching, summaries, recommendations, reports, or search-assisted outputs based on user input and service data.

DUVIS posts these Terms in a place where users can easily review them.

DUVIS may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Material changes will be announced in advance with the effective date and reason for change.

If a Member continues to use the Service after amended Terms take effect, the Member may be deemed to have accepted them, except where applicable law requires a separate procedure.

Matters not specified in these Terms are governed by applicable laws and customary practice, including laws on telecommunications, information networks, e-commerce consumer protection, digital content, and regulation of standard terms.

Operating policies separately provided in service screens, help pages, notices, payment screens, or feature guides apply together with these Terms to the extent they do not conflict with these Terms.

Users may apply for membership by following the registration process, providing accurate information, and agreeing to these Terms.

DUVIS may reject or later restrict registration if information is false, another person’s information is used, operation is materially affected, or legal risks exist.

Members are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and must notify DUVIS promptly if unauthorized use is suspected.

DUVIS provides features for goals, tasks, habits, time planning, retrospectives, notes, reports, AI coaching and planning, external integrations such as Google Calendar, notifications, and related functions.

DUVIS may modify all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. Changes materially affecting paid features or Members will be announced where reasonably possible.

The Service is generally available 24/7, but may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, incidents, external service failures, network issues, or security responses.

DUVIS complies with applicable law and these Terms and makes reasonable efforts to provide a stable and continuous Service.

DUVIS will make efforts to handle legitimate opinions or complaints raised by users. If immediate handling is difficult, DUVIS will, where reasonably possible, provide the reason and expected schedule.

DUVIS protects Members’ personal information according to the Privacy Policy and takes necessary technical and administrative measures for service security and data protection.

DUVIS may provide notices necessary for service use, feature changes, security alerts, payment and usage information, and support replies through service screens, email, app notifications, or similar methods.

DUVIS may display information about DUVIS or partner services through service screens, email, or notifications for service operation and improvement. Marketing communications follow applicable law and Member settings.

Even if a Member opts out of optional notifications or emails, essential notices regarding terms changes, security, payment, incidents, and account management may still be sent.

AI features provide reference suggestions, summaries, coaching, and reports based on user input and service data. AI outputs are automatically generated and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Members should use AI outputs as supportive information. Matters requiring professional judgment, such as health, legal, tax, investment, or employment decisions, should be reviewed with an appropriate professional.

DUVIS may process AI requests, responses, and usage information within the scope of applicable law and the Privacy Policy to improve quality, maintain safety, and prevent abuse.

DUVIS may offer certain AI usage, advanced features, storage, team, or operational features for a fee. Price, scope, billing cycle, and refund conditions are shown on the payment screen or separate notices.

Members must provide accurate payment and billing information. DUVIS may withhold or restrict paid features if payment fails, limits are exceeded, or fraudulent payment is suspected.

Refunds and withdrawal rights follow applicable law, app marketplace policies, payment processor policies, and service notices.

Members must comply with applicable law, these Terms, service notices, and guides.

Members must not misuse accounts, interfere with the Service, use malicious code, spam, unauthorized automation, or enter content that violates law or public order.

Members must not use AI features for illegal activity, privacy infringement, discrimination, hate, violence, security bypass, or infringement of others’ rights.

If DUVIS determines that Content entered or uploaded by a Member violates applicable law, these Terms, or operating policies, DUVIS may take necessary measures such as restricting visibility, deleting, moving, refusing registration, or restricting use.

DUVIS may review or retain relevant Content and records when necessary for legal requests, rights infringement reports, security incident response, or service recovery.

Members are responsible for separately backing up important Content. DUVIS makes efforts to maintain reliable storage, but cannot completely exclude loss caused by Member deletion, account termination, external service failures, or force majeure.

DUVIS may restrict use after notice if a Member violates these Terms or applicable law, or interferes with operation. Where urgent security or legal risk exists, DUVIS may take necessary action without prior notice.

Members may request termination at any time through account deletion features or customer support.

Upon account deletion, Member data will be deleted according to the Privacy Policy, except for data retained by law, backup retention, or legitimate dispute and security needs.

Members retain rights to Content entered into the Service. Members allow DUVIS to process Content as necessary to provide the Service, including backup, synchronization, AI features, security, and support.

Members are responsible for ensuring their Content does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.

Rights to DUVIS software, screens, design, logos, trademarks, database structure, AI prompts, and operational know-how belong to DUVIS or the rightful owner.

External services such as Google Calendar, Google login, app marketplaces, payment processors, AI model providers, and search tools may be governed by their own terms and policies.

Some DUVIS features may be limited due to external service outages, policy changes, permission revocation, or account restrictions.

Members may disconnect integrations through the Service or the external service account settings.

DUVIS makes reasonable efforts to provide a stable service. Liability may be limited for events beyond DUVIS’s reasonable control, including force majeure, network failures, cloud, app marketplace, or external API failures, or Member fault.

DUVIS does not guarantee that use of the Service or AI outputs will produce specific results, habit formation, goal achievement, or economic benefit.

To the extent permitted by law, DUVIS’s liability for free services is limited unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

If a Member causes damage to DUVIS by violating these Terms or applicable law, the Member must compensate DUVIS for ordinary and direct damages incurred.

If DUVIS causes damage to a Member by violating these Terms or applicable law, DUVIS is responsible according to applicable law.

The scope and method of damages are determined by applicable law, individual paid service conditions, and the parties’ degree of fault.

DUVIS protects Members’ personal information in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

DUVIS and Members will attempt to resolve service-related disputes in good faith.

These Terms and Service use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Jurisdiction follows applicable Korean procedural law.

These Terms take effect on July 5, 2026.
